Jawar Al Khaleej ordered and took delivery of 15 vessels for its projects during 2019. On 16th of July 2019 at 4:30am and in cooperation with our partner the “General Company of Iraqi Ports” (GCPI) JAK followed the established emergency plan and successfully evacuated 111 people from the Basra Oil Company offshore accommodation and extinguished a large fire that had erupted at the accommodation.

JAK has been running a training programme at it’s offshore facilities for GCPI graduate cadets. So far 4 groups of between 10 to 15 trainees has completed the week long programme. The training consists of standard offshore subjects Safety and Fire fighting but also specific operational and technical training for working on the latest Azimuthing
