Iraqi Supreme Maritime Authority (ISMA) Partners with JAK in New Long-Term Services Agreement

After several years of close cooperation following the establishment of the Iraqi Supreme Maritime Authority (ISMA) by the Iraqi Parliament, JAK is honored to have been awarded a Long-Term Services Agreement (LTSA).

The agreement, signed on 9th of February, establishes an inspection and monitoring system for vessels entering and exiting Iraqi territorial waters. This Long-Term Services Agreement builds on JAK’s successful delivery of multidisciplinary maritime projects.

JAK will provide:

  1. Inspection of all foreign vessels entering Iraqi waters.
  2. Provision of Port State Control Inspectors.
  3. Tracking of deficiencies and compliance on the vessels.
  4. Monitoring of vessels while in territorial waters.
  5. Development, deployment, and maintenance of a software system to monitor vessel status.
  6. Provision, operation, and maintenance of vessels for operations at all ports and in all-weather conditions.

JAK swiftly deployed the first vessel and is thrilled to play a key role in bringing ISMA’s vision to life.
