JAK takes delivery of 15 vessels in 2019

Jawar Al Khaleej ordered and took delivery of 15 vessels for its projects during 2019. Giving it the  Middle East’s most modern tug fleet.

14 new build vessels were ordered from Damen shipyards, 13 were delivered in 2019 with 1 remaining delivery in 2020, and a further 2 small RIBs were ordered with and delivered by RIBCraftME in 2019.

The vessels from Damen all come with remote monitoring capability, onboard cameras, internet and tied to a central computerized maintenance management software.

Damen delivered 13 vessels, 3 in March 2019, 10 in November 2019  with one vessel scheduled and remaining to be delivered February 2020.

The new vessels include the following;

3 nos RSD 2513,(75 TBP) which are the first tugs in the Middle East complying with IMO tier III (High fuel efficiency and low pollution)

6 nos ASD 2813 (85 TBP)the latest most modern iteration of this popular design.

2 nos ASD 3212 (85 TBP) The latest version and design iteration of one of Damens most powerful ASD tugs.

3 nos Stan 2208 (39 TBP) A modernized and modified version of one Damen’s most popular ever tugs, with an open stern, stern roller, towing/AH winch and knuckle jib crane.

1 nos Shoalbuster (35 TBP) An updated version of this workhorse, with Heavy Duty crane, Stern roller, towing winch, hydraulic towing pins and  the only one in the world with remote monitoring capability.

From RibcraftMe JAK took delivery of top of the line RIBS equipped with Oxe Diesel outboards

1 nos 9.8 mtr LOA RIB fully equipped with the latest Navigation/communication equipment(Radar, VHF, AIS, Echosounder) suitable for personnell transport but also as dive boat with a clear deck.

1 nos 6.8 mtr LOA RIB fully equipped with the latest Navigation/communication equipment(Radar, VHF, AIS, Echosounder) suitable for personnell transport, rope/line transfer.
