JAK has been running a training programme at it’s offshore facilities for GCPI graduate cadets. So far 4 groups of between 10 to 15 trainees has completed the week long programme. The training consists of standard offshore subjects Safety and Fire fighting but also specific operational and technical training for working on the latest Azimuthing Stern Drive tugs. It covers both theory and practical subjects. This contributes to upgrading and nationalizing the workforce operating in demanding oilfield and oil export areas. JAK is proud to contribute to the development of the Iraqi workforce.
